Privacy Notice

What you share
The room guide uses your room names, priorities, and product choices to suggest a shortlist. Your plan stays in your browser unless you choose to include it in a text or email. Avoid entering addresses or other sensitive details into room names.
The consultation tool builds a message using an optional first name and selected room notes. It opens your messaging or email app; it does not send the message automatically. GetBlinds receives the information only when you send it, and uses it to respond, schedule, and provide requested services. This does not subscribe you to advertising messages.
Browser storage and your choices
By default, the room plan lasts for the current page visit. If you choose “Remember my rooms,” we save it on this browser for up to 30 days. We remember your privacy choice for up to 180 days so you do not need to repeat it. Change your choice or delete your saved plan using Privacy choices in the footer. Browser settings can also clear local storage. Plans saved by an earlier version may remain under getblinds-rooms until cleared; choosing this visit only or deleting a saved plan also removes that legacy storage.
The GetBlinds application does not set advertising or analytics cookies or load advertising pixels. The hosting provider may use necessary technologies and technical logs for delivery, security, and abuse prevention. Its practices are described in the hosting providers’ privacy policies, available on request.
AI window-photo previews
When available, this optional feature sends your selected photo and product instructions through our hosting service to our AI image-processing provider only after you choose to generate a preview and give consent. It is not needed to browse, use the room guide, or request a consultation. Use a photo you have permission to share. Keep people, personal documents, security codes, and identifying details out of the image.
Before sending, the browser creates a resized JPEG from the image; original file metadata is not included in that new JPEG. Our preview application processes photos in memory and does not save uploaded photos or generated previews to a GetBlinds photo database. Results remain on the page until you clear them, reload, or leave; downloads are saved only when you choose to download.
Our AI provider’s API data is not used for model training by default. our AI image-processing provider may retain content for abuse monitoring for up to 30 days by default, with exceptions for legal and safety reasons. We do not promise zero retention. Read Provider data-handling details are available on request. Processing may occur outside your state or country.
Security and service providers
The site is hosted using managed hosting infrastructure. Hosting providers may process IP addresses, browser information, requests, and security logs. Our preview limits use daily pseudonymous network identifiers and request counters; these are used for abuse and cost control, not advertising. Counter records older than two days are removed during later requests; monthly aggregate counters contain no photos or room plans.
Messages you send are also handled by your messaging/email provider and our business inbox. We retain consultation correspondence while needed for your request, services, records, and applicable legal obligations. Contact us for access, correction, or deletion requests; we may need to verify your request and retain information where legally required. No security system can guarantee absolute protection.
Sales, marketing, and third parties
This website does not sell your room plans or photos or use them for cross-site targeted advertising. External links have their own policies. If we add analytics, advertising, new providers, or new data uses, we will update this notice and applicable controls before enabling them.
Children and requests
The service is intended for adults researching window treatments. Photo previews require confirmation that you are at least 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has shared personal information, contact us so we can address it.
